The Neece Law firm is expanding to better serve our clients. We are looking for dependable, self-motivated individuals to join our team.
Receptionist - Gastonia, NC
Duties will include:
- Greeting clients and visitors and answering visitor inquiries.
- Answering and routing incoming and making outbound calls on a multi-line telephone system
- Keeping up with calendar, scheduling and routing clients
- Maintaining the waiting area
- Complete client intake forms
- Taking payments
- Scanning, photocopying, faxing and filing documents
Qualifications:
- Strong grammar and spelling skills. This cannot be stressed enough; these skills are essential in taking effective messages and drafting correspondence.
- Attention to detail
- Organized
- Willing to learn
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to communicate with coworkers, attorneys, opposing counsel, clients, witnesses, clerks, and others. Familiarity with basic legal terms and jargon.
- Tech savvy
- Experience with Mac computers
- Proficient in MS Office for Mac, Pages, and Numbers
- Professional appearance
- Dependable and have respect for confidentially and discretion
- Positive attitude, patience in dealing with difficult visitors
- Able to work well under pressure
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
College degree is not required, paralegal certificate/degree preferred.
Starting pay for this position will be $9.00 per hour with bonus opportunities.
